Indoor Aero Modelers
Indoor radio controlled airplanes flying in gyms 2 and 3 on selected Friday evenings from 7-10 PM. Events occasionally on Sunday afternoons. Fees per visit, per person: $5 Member, $7 Guest. 


Aikido
Aikido is one of the most modern forms of the Japanese martial arts. It has been called a “gentle” martial art because it uses strictly defensive techniques of evasion, redirection, and immobilization to avoid and control the attacker. Open to ages 16 years and older, or age 13-15 with a parent also participating in the class. Classes are held 3-4:30 p.m. on Saturdays in room 2 of the Sports and Fitness building. Fees are $30 for LMRA members and $40 for guests for a 12-week term. 


Art
Meets last Thursday of month in Fitness Center Studio. Dues: $25 member, $65 guest. Open studio periods Tuesday and Saturday 9:30am – 3:00pm. Watercolor only Thursday 9:30am – 3:00pm. Classes Thursday 6:30pm – 8:30pm, fee $70 per 10-week session prorated. For more information please click here


Astronomy
The LMRA Astronomy Club is a small group of observers that get together periodically at Squaw Creek Golf Course for private observing sessions, and public sessions once or twice a year around astronomically interesting events. The club meets quarterly starting in January on the first Tuesday of the meeting month. Meetings are held at LMRA in the Clubhouse. The annual club fee is $25 per individual for LMRA members and $65 for guests. For more information please click here


Auto
Members of the Auto Club have use of a service, repair and car tuning building in a hobby shop environment. Fee: $45 Individual Member, $65 Family, and $85 Individual Guest. 


Ballroom Dance
Ballroom Dance classes (6-week sessions) are divided into different styles and skill levels. Tuesdays: Level 1 (Basic) - 7 pm, Advanced - 8:30 pm; Wednesdays: Level 2 (Intermediate) - 7 pm, Advanced - 8:30 pm. Thursdays: Level 1 (Basic) – 7 pm, Level 1/Level 2 Argentine Tango -8:30. Dancers must be at least 16 years old. Singles are welcome. Fee: $20/LMRA member; $32/Guest. LMRA Monthly Dance Admission: $8/LMRA Member, $10/Guest. 


Adult Basketball
Adult basketball annual activity card fee: $30 individual; $70 Family; $70 Guests or $3 daily for free play basketball at the Sports & Fitness Center. The Basketball Activity has co-ed leagues for adults twice a year: Spring (April start) and Fall (September start); League fees are based on team fees ranging from $375-425 per team. Leagues are divided into skill levels from Recreation to Open. All leagues play in the Sports & Fitness Center. 


Youth Basketball
Co-ed youth leagues are in the summer and winter for ages 5 to 13. 5 to 8 play on 8ft goals, 9 to 10 play on 9ft goals, 11 to 13 on 10ft goals. Players are randomly assigned to teams by blind draft. League fees: Winter $70 members, $80 guests, Summer $55 members, $60 guests. For more information click here


Belly Dancing
10 week Beginning Belly Dancing classes, Meets each week on Fridays @ 6 PM or Saturdays @ 10 AM in Upstairs room 2 & 3. 10 week fees: $75 member; $95 guest, 20 per class. 


Bicycle Club
Club for all levels (cruiser 11 mph, pacer 15+ mph, and swifty 19+ mph). We're novice to former/current racers, families, and young to more experienced riders; no one rides alone. Opportunities include organized rides (Saturday Breakfast Ride, off-Friday, etc.), classroom training, local discounts, and a web-site with active message board. Bluegrass Club
The Club promotes bluegrass, folk, and old-time country music with its monthly jam sessions, workshops, and other activities. Bridge (Duplicate)

Camera
Regular meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month at 7:30pm in Room 2 of the clubhouse. Contests are held on the 4th Thursday of each month and classes are scheduled throughout the year. A studio and darkroom are available for activity members and guests. Fee: $20 individual; $60 guest. Ceramics
The Ceramics Club Building houses kilns and hundreds of molds and is open 7 days a week. Introductory through advanced classes are held several times a year. Meetings are the 2nd Monday of the months of Feb-May, Sept-Nov at 6pm in the Ceramics Club Building. Fee: $30 Individual; $70 Guest. 


Club Dance
Club Dance classes (6-week sessions) are divided into different styles and skill levels. Club type dances are the Swing & CW dances that can easily be performed on a small club dance floor. Classes are on Mondays: Basic - 7 pm; Intermediate/Advanced - 8:30 pm. Dancers must be at least 16 years old. Singles are welcome. Fee: $20/LMRA member, $32/Guest. 


Driving Range
Hours: Mon-Sat 9am-10pm, Sundays noon-8pm. Golf lessons avail. Call 817-737-6025 for more information. 


Fencing
Instruction is offered for beginners. Membership is open to children 9 and up, and adults. Meetings are held in the Sports & Fitness Center Aerobics Room on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30-9:00 pm. Equipment is available for beginners. Annual fees: Members $50, Member/Family $90; Guests $90, Guest/Family $170. Six month fees are available.


Fishing
This activity provides private fishing at SCGC Lake, bass tournaments on area lakes, deep sea fishing charters and kids' fishing. Fee: $25/yr for LMRA member or dependent, $10 for additional dependent over 16 yrs. Student & Retiree $17.50, $65 Guests. For more information click here


Fitness Center
ALL NEW WEIGHT equipment and many new cardio stations including 6 ellipticals added in 2003. Cycle classes are now scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Click here to see pictures of new equipment. Open 7 days a week! 17,000 sq ft including treadmills, stairclimbers, rowers, versaclimbers, stationary bikes, weight training equipment, free weights, lockers, showers, and saunas. Professional staff teach low impact and water aerobics, abdominal conditioning, LM Aero worksite exercise, senior exercise, lunch time education, and perform fitness testing, cholesterol screening, and individualized programs. Golf
The golf activity is located at the Squaw Creek Golf Club. Squaw Creek is a beautiful 6800 yd. facility surrounding a 30 acre lake. Numerous monthly events are held, which include such tournaments as plant wide, club championship, ladies' tournament and senior retirees tournament. Fee: Single dues-paying employee, $962; Family $1,248, Junior $572; employee greens fee, $20 weekends, $20 weekdays, guests green fees, $35 weekends, $26 weekdays. For more information click here


Jazz Band
Several bands (big band jazz & combos) provide opportunities for organized practice and performance. Practices are Tuesday at 7pm. Fee: $15 Individual; $55 Guest. For more information click here


Indoor Aero Modelers
Come enjoy flying radio controlled airplanes in the Sports and Fitness Center gyms once a month, usually on a Friday night from 7 to 10 PM. Check the LMRA monthly newsletter for specific dates. Fees per visit: $6 member, $8 family, $8 guest, $10 guest family. . 


Juggling
Meets in the Fitness Center every Friday evening at 6:30. Juggling is a fun activity for all ages - beginner to highly skilled jugglers. Fee: $15 individual, $55 guest, or $2 per visit. Come visit at no cost for one month. 


Pottery
A fully-equipped pottery studio is open seven days a week during LMRA hours. Meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month at 7pm. Classes are held on Tuesdays at 7pm in the Pottery club Building. Fee: $60 Individual; $120 Guest.  


Racquetball/Handball
Seven air-conditioned courts are available 7 days a week (w) 2 challenge courts). The courts are in the Sports & Fitness Center. Fee: $50 individual; $75 family (3 or more); $80 guest or $4 daily, guest family $130. For more information click here


Radio
The Radio Shack houses the latest HF, VHF, and UHF equipment. The club sponsors 3 repeaters with phone patches. Radio operator license testing sessions held twice during each month. Meetings are every Thursday at 7pm. Fee: $30 individual; $40 guest. For more information click here


Railroad
The Club has a permanent HO scale layout. Business meetings, clinics workshops are held on the third Monday night of each month. Work sessions are held on the 2nd Tuesday morning, Thursday nights and 2nd Saturday morning of each month in the club layout room. Operating sessions are held on the 4th Tuesday morning, 2nd Thursday night and 4th Saturday morning of each month. The Club is a member of the North Texas Council of Railroad Clubs. The Club's annual RR Show is held the 2nd weekend of October each year at the recreation center. Dues per year are $60 for Individual LM Aero Employees, Retiree or Affiliate members and $100.00 for Guest membership. Guest memberships are limited in number. Rock Hounds
This activity has its own jewelry-making and stone-polishing facility - one of the best in the DFW area. Classes are offered several times yearly. Shop open for daily use. Meetings are on the 2nd Tuesday at 7:00pm. Fee: $20 Individual, $30 Family, $60 Guest, or $70 Guest with Family. For more information click here


Round Dance
This activity is associated with Square Dance. Dances are held every Monday evening in the Banquet Hall, with lessons before the dance. Sign-ups are the first 2 weeks of the session. Fee: $50 per couple for 6 months. Lessons: $40 per couple. Guest: $150/couple per year.  


RV Camping
Camping membership is available to all LM AERO employees or affiliate members and their immediate families. Business meetings are on the first Thursday of each month at 7:30pm in the Ranch House. Activities vary. Fee: $15 couple; $55 guest couple. Check LMRA Newsletter for more information.  


Sailing
Planned activities include monthly meetings, presentations and sailouts with club boats. Meetings are on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7pm in Clubhouse Room 5 or at the lake. Scuba Diving

Singles Network
The Singles Network is a great atmosphere to meet other singles of all ages in the Fort Worth area. Fun activities are scheduled throughout the month. Members take part in entertaining activities such as going to movies, dining at local restaurants, attending local festivals, attending plays, concerts, and exhibits at local museums and traveling both in the United States and abroad. Ski and Outdoor Adventure Club

Softball
Slow pitch leagues are organized for mens and coed teams, in 3 seasons (8 to 10 games per season) that run from March through October. Team rosters are limited to twenty players per team. SquareDance
Dances are held every Thursday in the Ballroom. A series of three classes designed to go from beginner to Plus level are held before the Thursday evening dance. Fee $100 per couple per yr.; guest $150 per couple per yr. Lessons: $40 per couple per class, guests $48 per couple per class.  


Stained Glass
Activity involving various methods in all forms of art glass. Meets 2nd Monday of each month at 7pm in Clubhouse Room 5. Fee: $20 individual; $30 family; $60 guest. Workroom with tools, pattern books, how to videos and books. Classes in basic foil and lead, lamp shade, stepping stones, angel, wire wrap jewelry, bead making, kiln work (slumping, drapeing, and fusing). 


Swimming
Special Pool Hours June 2-6: Opening at 4:00 pm each day
Olympic pool, plus Kiddie Pool and diving area. Lessons throughout the season. Season passes and discount cards available. Available for Private Parties. Open Memorial Day through Labor Day. Table Tennis
This sport is open to persons of all ages. Tables are available every Tuesday and Thursday from 8-10pm and Sunday from noon-6pm in the Sports & Fitness Center. Fee: $15 individual; $20 family; $55 guest. 


Tae Kwon Do (Korean Martial Art)
Self-defense is taught year-round for ages 6 and up, male and female, through the Korean Martial Art of Tae Kwon Do. Lessons are at the Sports & Fitness Center in Room 3. Classes are Tuesday and Thursday with beginners from 6:00 - 6:55 and advanced classes 7-8:15. Fee: $99 individual for three months. Guest: $40 annual fee + $99 for three months. T'ai Chi
A gentle Chinese exercise system that increases energy, flexibility, strength, balance, mental focus and patience. Beginner Classes: 10 AM Mon., 7 PM Wed., 10 AM Sat. Intermediate Classes: 11 AM Mon., 8 PM Wed., 11 AM Sat. Monthly Fees: $30 LM Aero Retirees, $35 LMRA Members, $43 Guests. 


Tennis
LMRA has four lighted tennis courts, a state of the art tennis ball machine, a tennis teaching professional, and a variety of membership fee options for employees, affiliates, students and retirees including a league package option for reduced fees. Court reservations are recommended for all play but walk-ons may also be available. There are spring and fall leagues available for beginners through advanced players and for singles and doubles. Ultimate Frisbee
Ultimate Frisbee is a rapidly rising, fun sport that is like a combination of soccer, football, and frisbee. There are 7 players on each team (usually dark shirt against white shirts). There is lots of running to get open to receive a throw. Once you catch the frisbee in-bounds you can not run with it but have to throw it to your team mate. If you catch the frisbee in the end zone you score a goal. Ultimate rules can be found at http://www.ultimatefrisbee.com/Rules/. LMRA Ultimate League play consists of two league tournaments per year with pick-up games played every Wednesday evening and Saturday morning at the field just west of the Kimbell Art Museum. Activity fees are a minimum of $15 per year for LMRA members and $55 per year for guests. The fees are spread out throughout the year for various league play events and go to pay for the lights, upkeep of the grounds, maintenance, etc. The first few times are free, so come on out and join us. Volleyball
League play is available for coed 6’s and quads (any gender) teams. Indoor leagues are Tresday and Thursday evenings, spring and fass. Grass tournaments are held one Saturday a month from May-Sept. Yoga
Classic yoga poses & modifications to develop relaxation, flexibility, balance and endurance. Mats, blocks, straps & blankets provided. Class meets upstairs in Room #2. Fitness member no charge, $15/month LMRA, $25/month guest. Plus guests pay a $40 annual fee.
